Michael G. Langan

Mr. Langan represents corporations and individuals on a wide array of litigation matters, including commercial and business disputes, employment matters, consumer fraud cases, real estate, construction and estate litigation.

Mr. Langan has litigated a wide variety of matters in the federal and state courts in New Jersey. In the employment arena, Mr. Langan has extensive experience litigating cases under state and federal anti-discrimination statutes, as well as whistleblower, non-compete and trade secret cases. His litigation expertise also extends to the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and class action litigation under employment statutes, including the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the ADEA and ERISA.

Mr. Langan also serves as general counsel to his business clients, including a commercial construction company and a real estate development firm.

Prior to joining Hartmann, Doherty, Rosa, Berman & Bulbilia, Mr. Langan had his own law practice located in Bergen County. Before starting his own firm, Mr. Langan was a senior litigation attorney in the New Jersey offices of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the United States, and served as in-house counsel to an international consumer electronics company.

Mr. Langan began his litigation career as an associate with Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione, one of New Jersey's top litigation firms, where he represented large corporate clients in employment disputes and general commercial litigation matters.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Langan served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Dickinson R. Debevoise, Senior District Judge, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
